retreat highlights / a custom designed full immersion into dia de los muertos celebrations including building an ofrenda, preparing and tasting some of the traditional food and drink offerings celebrated with the holiday, guided visits to main cemeteries to observe and share in celebrations as respectful guests, and traditional calavera catrina face painting to attend la muerteada, the big celebration.
